I want a break. This love thing has been stressing me lately, physically and mentally. And I've had enough of this love crap. (But please take note of this: I'm not the one in love!)

Now I'm gonna talk about my favorite cartoon character, Spongebob Squarepants!

For those who don't know Spongebob, here he is:

Well if you find him weird, it's all right. My first reaction when I saw him was like "What is that? A kitchen sponge wearing a pair of pants? How WEIRD!" But when I started watching the shows, I just fell in love with him.. You know why? I'll let you know later.

Let me give you a brief description of Spongebob's life first. Spongebob is actually not a kitchen sponge. He's a natural sea sponge, only that he's yellow and square like a kitchen sponge. So that solves the mystery of his appearance. He lives in a town under the sea. And you won't believe the name of this town: Bikini Bottom. It sounds a little absurd, but hey, it's quite fun! Spongebob lives in a pineapple hut with his pet snail, Gary. Actually this snail meows so I really don't know what it is. His bestfriend is a pink starfish named Patrick. He also has another friend, Sandy Cheeks, a smart squirrel who lives in an "earth dome" under the sea. Spongebob has a love-hate relationship with his neighbor and co-worker Squidward, a grumpy squid who is always miserable. Spongebob loves Squidward, but Squidward feels otherwise. Spongebob works in the Krusty Krab, where he cooks the Krabby Patty Burger, famous in Bikini Bottom for its good and unique taste. But there's really one thing weird about it. The Krusty Krab is owned by a crab, and they serve crab patties! Isn't it called cannibalism? Well I don't care. As long as they live in harmony (or rather disharmony).

Now why do I love this show? Well it's unique. Nowhere can you find a square sea sponge having a pineapple for a house, a squid for a neighbor, a starfish for a bestfriend and a crab for a boss. They're also funny!! I love it when Squidward starts complaining about Spongebob. It's like he would want to die rather than deal with Spongebob. I also love Patrick's stupidity. He's so stupid that he doesn't even know how to open a jar! And Spongebob himself! He's so hilarious. I love the way he laughs. It's just funny..

But one thing I love about this show is that I see myself in Spongebob. His character just fits into mine. First, Spongebob is hardworking and wants to achieve something. I'm like that. Although I'm not very hardworking, I just rely on myself to achieve all my goals. Spongebob is also a troublemaker. He thinks that what he does is right and can help the other characters, but he doesn't know that what he's actually doing is ruin somebody's life. I've been like that to some people. I thought I was helping them and making them feel comfortable, but what I did was just make them more miserable. But one good trait that Spongebob and I share is the willingness to help. Although we are troublemakers, we are still willing to help others. Despite our busy schedules, we try our best to be of help to our friends. And at the end of the day, both of us would feel extremely satisfied and happy..

So that's it about Spongebob. Hope you'd also like him.
