No I'm not lonely. It's just the title of one of my favorite "oldies" song. I've been exposed to oldies music for years, with my parents playing it everytime in the house and even in the car. But when high school came, pop and rock have been the styles of music I got used to. Although I've been a fan of pop music lately, that part of me who wants to grab a big-black-disk-with-holes and play it on the machine-with-a-moving-arm-with-a-needle-on-it has resurfaced. Thanks to American Idol, whose contestants have been singing lots of oldies songs, and my passion for the oldies came back. I also got evad to thank for introducing me to the number 1 oldies radio station in Singapore (but I'm not really sure if it's the top oldies station in the country coz it's the only oldies station I know. hehe)
Well, enough of the oldies.
I'll be going back to the Philippines next week. But this wasn't my original plan. My plan for the summer was to stay here in Singapore, work part-time and laze around as much as possible. But due to some changes, I'll be going home. The day I knew that I'm going back, I was singing and dancing around the room with joy. That was such a happy day. And I was even happier when my exam results came out that same day. I never expected to get such grades. For me, it's a miracle (a true blue spectacle, a miracle come true, oooh oooh.. ok, that was just me singing). I was even happier when I got 2 boxes from the supermarket.. Well, I need it for packing! Without the 2 boxes, my life would be a mess.. (that was just me being dramatic)
Anyway, I'll have to end it here. I've got lots of packing to do. And I still have to move some stuff to another room.
Goodbye! (yellow brick road, where the dogs of society howl, you can't plant me in your penthouse, I'm going back to my plough...)
o_O
=D
